Travel and Customer Services

Distant Horizons Travel provides the entire range of tourist products and customer services that can be expected to be available from a safari organiser acting as ground handler.
When you opt for co-operating with us we will remain your sole contact partner throughout for any kind of travel service and safari programme.

Safari Vehicles: When selecting rental vehicles for self-driving guests and guided group tours quality and safety considerations always take top priority.

Accommodation and Activities On Safari: Recommended safari accommodations, activities and excursions are value-for-money options where particularly attractive travel experiences are on offer. Our tourist service providers in Namibia are businesses registered with the Namibia Tourism Board (NTB).

Local Guides: Tour guides in Namibia commonly act as guides and drivers simultaneously. Distant Horizons Travel contracts local tour guides who have distinguished themselves through their comprehensive knowledge and competence in dealing with our travel guests throughout many years of co-operation with us.

Tourist Service Providers Outside Namibia: We expect our business partners in Botswana, South Africa, Zambia and other countries neighbouring Namibia to provide the same high level of service delivery and reliability that we maintain when they support us in fulfilling the wishes and expectations of our guests.

Safari Suggestions: Please visit our tours pages to find ideas and suggestions for planning your safari. Travel services stipulated there are randomly exchangeable and may also be combined. We would be happy to design an African safari programme for you that is tailored exclusively to your wishes and interests and also fits in with your travel budget.
